The last week has been so ridiculously hectic that I seem to have abandoned all things bloggy.

I've been busting my butt at bootcamp and rowing and the wee one is now going to play school twice a week. It's just been never ending this week.

What a week it has been, not only have I joined a rowing club but I'm also partaking in a bootcamp so here I am at 5.30am writing this party post for you before I go and pay to be put through the tortuous ringer on the beach.

On the plus side the weather is beautiful!

Giant Double Chocolate Cookie

My niece is 6 today, so we're in the throes of getting ready to head to her party today and my wee muffin has been raving about cake, candles and dancing since she woke (actually I heard her singing the 'Happy Birthday' song to herself in her cot before I'd even fully woken, she is that excited)

So while I jive the afternoon away with a bunch of giggling pre-teens I give you this gorgeous giant cookie.
